Best Shared Web Site Hosting Providers

I been designing web sites for quite some time and when I’m building web sites I also need a place to host my sites. Let me say I had been hosting my web sites with many different web hosting providers. Some hosting providers are good, some were great and many were just awful.

Also, pricing is important too, most shared web hosting provider lower their monthly payment at dirt cheap price. They can afford to that because they will squeeze you into an account with thousands of other customers. I went through that and I will let you know which companies does that so you can avoid them. I also know a few other companies that offered cheap shared web hosting services but doesn’t necessary squeeze you into a crowded server and their server performance is top notch.

Below is a list of different web hosting providers I have dealt with in the past and some I still have my accounts open with them.

Here is my most favorite shared web hosting provider from most to least. All four web hosting I would recommend, especially FatCow and HostGator. I am currently with both web hosting providers.

1. FatCow – Signup and pay only $66 per year! I have one account with them.
2. HostGator – Signup and get Baby Plan for best value. I have 2 Baby Plans account with them.
3. iPage
4. BlueHost

Here is my list of web hosting provider I didn’t like

1. Web Air – Poor control panel. Slow Email.
2. Brinkster – Slow servers, slow support, no phpmyadmin (need to install yourself), and cannot host multiple domains.
3. Dreamhost – Good for static html web sites. Slow database, slow support and incompetent support. Don’t get fool like me by signing up with their long term contract to save money. You will end up not using your account past 6 months. They will squeeze you into an account fill with other users.
4. 1&1 – They are more involved with their marketing campaign than their web hosting services.

Well, that’s all for now. If you sign up with anyone of these web hosting companies: FatCow, Hostgator, iPage and BlueHost. You will be saving yourself so much time, suffer and pain. They are simply the best in my opinion.
