How to create 3D postcard inside Photoshop CS4
The 3D Postcard is a very simply 3D effect. Basically Photoshop takes an image and turn it into a 3D plan right inside Photoshop. No need to import any 3D objects, you can create this from scratch inside Photoshop.
First, open up an image. Select that image in the Layers panel and then go to the 3D menu, click on “New 3D Postcard From Layer”.
The image is now a 3D object. Use the 3D rotate tool to rotate it around. This effect is great for reflection or virtual ceilings, floors and hallways.

It is also great for resizing the image in 3D without destroying the image quality. Which mean you can always go back to rotate and adjust the image as often as you like without losing quality.
