How to Paint Opacity Texture Map in Photoshop CS4

Opacity is generally use on glasses or any 3D objects you want to see through.

This is how to paint Opacity texture map in Photoshop:

1. First import your 3D object or create one inside Photoshop.

2. Select the 3D layer you want to paint the opacity texture map.

3. Go to Paint On, in the drop down select Opacity.

4. Select your brush, start to paint on the 3D object and Photoshop will ask you to create the opacity texture map. Click OK and Photoshop automatically create the opacity texture map for you.

5. Paint with black to get 100% opacity while white is 0% opacity and the gray values are somewhere between 100%-0%.
