How to use 3D cameras in 3D scene with Photoshop CS4
When you import any 3D objet with multiple cameras into Photoshop, you will notice the same cameras will not display the same view as you see on your original 3D software. Often you may want to try to avoid importing cameras from other 3D software and rather use Photoshop’s cameras.
Sometimes when you import cameras from other 3D software they will work properly and sometimes they don’t work at all. To fix this, try using the rotate 3D Camera tool (see image below).

You will want to have your ground plane turn on for this. Here is how you turn on your 3D ground plane tutorial.
When you have the ground plane on, you will be able to rotate your camera to the correct position. Use the 3D Axis tool to rotate the 3D object.
Also, you will have the “Return to initial camera position” if you want to reset your camera to the original position.
You can also save the settings and positioning of each camera by selecting the camera and clicking on “Save current view”. You can save as many camera views as you want. This allows you to compare different views and if you don’t like it, you can always delete them with the trash can.

When you have “Zoom the 3D camera” you will see the “Perspective camera – uses field of view” and “Orthographic camera – Uses scale “.
Use the View drop down to select which camera you like to view from. This View drop down also contain all the cameras you originally have from your 3D software, along with all the saved camera views you created as well as Photoshop default camera views Left, Right, Top, Bottom, Back, and Front.
