Mean Machine 3D Modeling – Work In Progress (WIP)
Back in 2006, I started working on this 3D modeling of the comic book character Mean Machine and I ended up never had time to finish him. The 3D modeling was about 98% finish, just need to do some final touches and the UV map was also almost finished. I was about to texture him but at the time I was still learning how to texture a character.
While I was learning how to texture I got an offer a job as a web designer in down town Toronto, Canada. I promise to finish this guy and add all the necessary textures and normal map with Zbrush.
It had been a long time since I last touch 3D Max to do any serious work. I used to be able to rig characters but it had been too long I will have to reread and watch all the tutorials about rigging again. However, when it comes to 3D modeling, I believe I still have the ability to do what I did before, I am only a little rusty and may need some practice run.
Anyway, here are some more test renders of the Mean Machine character. I hope I will come back and finish him the next year or the next 5 years. No matter how long it takes. I really enjoy 3D modeling because it allow me to create some very cool looking stuff.
Finally, he is done!!! Now I can start on my next project. Stay tuned because I’ll video capture the process and posted on this site for every to follow.
